The Théâtre de la Vieille 17 and the Théâtre populaire d’Acadie present the play Intrusions on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. with English surtitles.

Alone on stage, a woman recounts her wait for a  transfer to a residence for the elderly with her husband, whose health is failing. The arrival of a drug addict, who mysteriously prowls on her doorstep, will highlight her vulnerability, but also her loneliness in the face of the invasions of their private life and the administrative challenges of the health sector. With humour, rage and determination, she refuses to let age, circumstances or the system destroy her dignity and the love she has for her husband.

A very touching play.
