This edition of the Christmas Market brought our community together in a simple and heartfelt way. From the moment the doors opened, there was a welcoming atmosphere — the kind that appears when people take the time to talk, discover the work of local artisans, and support a community event. Florence Cotnoire, Josette Couture, Henderson Farms, and Jamie Janx Johnston shared far more than their creations: they shared their passion, their stories, and a genuine sense of community. Each table told its own story, and every encounter added a small spark of joy.
What touches us most is the spirit of solidarity you demonstrated. Thanks to your presence and your purchases, the Kingston Food Bank will receive financial support that reflects the commitment of Kingston’s francophone community — a gesture made even more meaningful as the holiday season approaches. This shared generosity reminds us how closely culture, craftsmanship, and mutual support are tied together.
We also warmly thank École secondaire catholique Sainte-Marie-Rivier. Their collaboration, combined with their open house, helped create a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. It is truly a pleasure to work hand in hand with partners so dedicated to our francophone community.
And the spirit of giving doesn’t end here. On Friday, December 12, during the Les Chiclettes show, we invite the public to bring non-perishable food items to continue this momentum of solidarity. As a thank-you, Les Chiclettes will offer a small surprise to participating audience members — a joyful touch to brighten the evening.
