On the evenings of August 7th, 8th and 9th, MacDonald Park was transformed into a magical kingdom thanks to The Boreal King, an immersive show by L’Imagier Vivant. Audiences followed Boreas, a majestic giant puppet embodying the northern winds, on a poetic journey through the trees. Between shadow puppetry, mesmerizing light play, the scents and fragrances of nature, and an enchanting soundscape, this multisensory experience transported spectators through the seasons.
Presented as part of the Kick & Push Festival, this unique performance created a true communion between nature and art. The second evening concluded with a special meet-and-greet with the artists, offering a behind-the-scenes look at this creation. Thanks to support from Les Tréteaux de Kingston, Réseau Ontario and Les Voyagements, these magical moments came to life.
Our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make these enchanted evenings possible.

A heartfelt thank-you as well to our partners and funders for their continued support throughout the season.
