On May 3, our theatre was filled with music and dance for a warm and vibrant evening featuring the Rythmes croisés project, organized in collaboration with ANIM • Alliance nationale de l’industrie musicale.

The evening began with a snack offered to all, including delicious African dishes. Students from École secondaire publique Mille-Îles and École secondaire catholique Sainte-Marie-Rivier then set the tone with a dynamic musical performance.

The show opened with the powerful words and flow of Kimya, a committed hip-hop and rap artist. The audience then discovered a beautiful African dance performance by a small group of local dancers as part of the Rythmes croisés project. Finally, Joyce N’sana lit up the stage with her contagious energy and unique Afrobluehop style.

🎶 It was an evening full of music, culture, and good vibes, thanks to the participation of all the artists, youth, volunteers, and of course, our amazing audience.

We warmly thank ANIM, the participants of the Scène Afrofrancos project, the students from Mille-Îles and Sainte-Marie-Rivier, Kimya, the African dancers, Joyce N’sana, and all our volunteers for their valuable contribution.

🙏 A heartfelt thank-you as well to our partners and funders for their continued support throughout the season.
