CCF 2016-2017 SEASON PROGRAM (Beyond the walls)

This year, create your own Advent Calendar! 

The Centre culturel Frontenac (French Art Centre) in collaboration with Limestone Advisory for Child Care Programs is offering this year the "Creative Mornings" to all families of the city of Kingston. Both organisations will offer the possibility to create a vibrante and unique Advent Calendar. The material is supplied free of charge until the available ressources are used up. 3 different dates are offered to the community:

WIN TICKETS to see OVO, of the Cirque du Soleil presented at the K-Rock Center, from December 7th to December 11th, 2016.

HOW?
Until December 4th at midnight, buy some tickets for the Snooze Show presented at the Octave Theatre, on March 25th, 2017, at 10 am (English friendly show). The winners will be draw on the morning of December 5th.

Le 8 novembre Réseau Ontario a dévoiler la programmation de la 36e édition de Contact ontarois. Du 17 au 21 janvier 2017, l'événement aura lieu au Centre des arts Shenkman. Le Centre culturel Frontenac est impatient de les voir en vitrine lors de l'événement et présentera certainement plusieurs de ces artistes sur sa scène, à Kingston lors de sa programmation 2017-2018.

Michel Robichaud unveils a unique style of poetry. Inspired by interesting and universal subjects he lures the audience into his funny and touching universe.

In the opening act, a couple from Ontario unite their voices, accompanied by an acoustic guitar and a piano. Powerful! The couple launched their new album on September 27th, 2016. Their musicality, close to Simon and Garfunkel, will bring us somewhere else. They are “like a therapy”.

Le 19 avril dernier, les membres du Centre culturel Frontenac se sont réunis en assemblée générale spéciale dans le but de mandater les membres du conseil d’administration d’évaluer les diverses options en ce qui concerne la survie du seul centre culturel francophone de la région.

Summer art camp in French for the francophone youth (12 to 15 years), arts amateurs looking to start a project of multidisciplinary artistic creation (Introduction to theater, circus, improvisation, music, song and acrobatic dance).
