HoozHear? Fundraising Concert and Dance

“HoozHear?” started as the house band for Crystalize Music Studio, supporting other performers at various studio concerts. Onstage performers are always changing, hence the name.

The band consists of a core of students ages 11-24 who sing (with harmonies) and play keyboards, drum kit, cajon, djembe, bodhran, electric and acoustic guitar, violin, electric bass, ukulele, saxophone, and various rhythm instruments. Their repertoire currently consists of almost 200 songs by the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Evanescence, Of Monsters and Men, The White Stripes, Disturbed, Stevie Wonder, and many more mainstream and eclectic artists.

This is not your standard teen “garage band”. This group has played at schools, for benefit concerts, for seniors, at a teen dance, for service organizations, and many times in support of other music students. The will be returning to this year’s Kingston HomeGrown Music Festival to once again support Joe’s MILL.

We love to play! One of our mottos is “too much good music, too little time…”.

Come to this fun event and help support this Award-Winning band! In addition to just plain having the chance to play their own show at the Octave, this concert is in support of the band’s equipment, performance and repair fund. Come listen, dance and enjoy!
